Rules for Artist Alley
If you are found in violation of the rules, the Artist Alley and/or Kawaii Kon directors reserve the right to remove you from Artist Alley.  If this happens, you forfeit your table registration fee and will not be allowed to exhibit for the remainder of the convention.  Severe violations may result in a suspension or permanent ban as an Artist Alley exhibitor.

[ONE] You may not damage, mark, or disfigure any of the provided equipment (including tables, chairs, table skirting, carpets, etc.).  Report any accidental damage to the Art Room Director as soon as possible. You may be held responsible for any fines incurred by Kawaii Kon resulting from these damages.

[TWO] It is the responsibility of the Artist Alley Directors and Staff to insure a safe and respectful environment for the artists and guests at Artist Alley.  As such, vendors must abide by all instructions given to them by Kawaii Kon and Artist Alley Directors and Staff.

[THREE] Vendors in Artist Alley should conduct themselves in a professional manner.

[FOUR] Artist Alley vendors may only sell ORIGINAL artwork and creations.  Vendors cannot sell any licensed or logo merchandise unless it can be considered "fan art."  Resellers and commercial artists are welcome to purchase booth space in the Dealer’s Room.

[FIVE] No more than 4 chairs will be allowed per table.

[SIX] Free standing forms must be secure and not endanger public safety.  Vendors may not have items that extend into the walkways or into other vendor's spaces.

[SEVEN] Additional power strips may not be plugged into ones already provided.

[EIGHT] Kawaii Kon and the Kawaii Kon Staff are not responsible for any personal items or merchandise on your table.  Artist Alley is generally a friendly, family-like area, but we still recommend that you watch your own belongings.

[NINE] You are not required to remain open for the entire Artist Alley schedule.  You are free to "open" and "close" your table as necessary.

[TEN] Confirm you are providing a valid email address and check your email often.  Artist Alley staff will not be held liable if you do not receive information because you did not check your email or provided a faulty email address.

[ELEVEN] If special arrangements are required, please contact the Art Room Director at (art [at] kawaiikon [dot] org) no later than 2 weeks before the convention.

[TWELVE] Kawaii Kon and Artist Alley Directors reserve the right to remove any vendor at any time.

If you need to make special arrangements or have questions, please contact Alton, the Art Room Director at (art [at] kawaiikon [dot] org). You can also check the Kawaii Kon forums under the Artist Alley thread.
