Hallway Costume Contest

Proud of your costume but not looking forward to being on stage? Then this contest is for you!

Simply sign-in at the Hallway Costume Contest table, and have your picture taken. Con-goers are then allowed to vote for their favorite pictures. The contestant that receives the most votes by 9:00pm on Friday, and starting over, the contestant that receives the most votes by 7:00pm on Saturday will be declared the winners . The earlier you have your picture taken, the longer people have to vote for you! Awards will be given at the end of the costume presentations Saturday night. You must be present to win. Costumes submitted in the Hallway Costume Contest can be from any source.

Other:

1. Costumes already entered in previous Kawaii Kon Contests or Showcases may not be entered in competition. In other words, you cannot enter again with the same costume you wore a previous year.
2. To enter competition, your costume must fall into one of these categories:
   1. A majority of your costume was created by you.
   2. Your costume was assembled from at least 3 different sources of pre-made pieces, and at least one aspect or piece must have been created by you.
      
3. No actions that risks harm to participants or spectators will be tolerated. weapons may be unsheathed to take the picture, but NOT swung around. Violators will be disqualified, and removed from the premises.
4. No nudity. Topless guys are okay, but topless women are not. If in doubt, cover it up.
5. The Cosplay Coordinator has final say in all circumstances and disputes and may change the rules at any time if necessary.
6. You may enter a costume only once, for only one costume contest, during Kawaii Kon 2009.
7. Lastly, have fun! You labored for several hours/days/weeks making these costumes and judges love to see energy and a smile!
