Kawaii Kon Panel Submission

Panel-Button.png

Panel Submissions are now open!

Let us know what you'd like to do and how you're going to do it. It's both fun and free! Once submitted, you will be contacted by the Events Director / Assistant Director to let you know that your submission has been received and if any additional information or changes are required or advised. Once we have collected all panel submissions, we will send out approvals by January 11, 2015.

When filling out your forms, please fill them out as completely as possible – the more info you can provide, the easier it will be for us to approve.

For time slots, preferred times are not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate your requested time, but it is dependent on exactly how best we can balance all items into the schedule. Schedules will be finalized sometime early in 2015, so please be patient with us as we try and find the best times for all scheduled panels and events. All panelists will be emailed once the schedule is mostly finalized on your time slot for your approval.

In addition, although your panel times may have been previously approved, Kawaii Kon still reserves the right to modify the schedule at any time for any reason: for example, last minute changes in guest events. Any affected panelist will be notified as soon as possible of any changes and asked if you will be able to accommodate the new time.

Want to obtain a free pass to Kawaii Kon 2015? Then our “3 for 3” special may be for you! If you host 3 or more hours of approved panels, you and an eligible co-host may qualify each for a 3-day pass. To qualify, your panels must be approved, must fill the minimum 3-hour requirement, and must actually run as long as stated. For co-hosts, they too must be actively hosting the panel and be present for all hours of the panel. Failure to abide by these rules will result in loss of any passes earned and said passes can be revoked at the discretion of the Events Director / Assistant Director.

**Please note: Free passes earned through the "3 for 3" offer are non-transferable and are only avaiable to the host / co-host of the panels (2 passes total).  If you have purchased a pass and subsequently qualify for a "3 for 3" pass, please visit Kawaii Kon's Registration Page for more information on transfering your purchased pass to another person.

***To ensure a wide variety of programming, we will be accepting only a limited number of Cosplay Q&A panels (Panels done in cosplay, where panelists answer questions in character) These panels will be judged and accepted based on the following criteria:

  1. Completeness and uniqueness of your plan
  2. Popularity of the series
  3. Space available in the schedule

If you have any comments or questions, feel free to contact us at the email address below!

If you have any questions about any of this, or want to make any changes to your already-submitted forms, please email: events@kawaiikon.com
