I'm good with anything! And your photos look amazing, don't be too hard on yourself for not having special backdrops or anything. Important thing is how you look more so than how the background looks and you look absolutely great! Glad you were able to get your wig to stay on!

Yup I was the Oz, and the cake was BEAUTIFUL! Our Gil made it and she decorated it with Oz's face on it in icing, there's a picture of me holding it on my deviantart. And yes, it was rather uncomfortable especially since those weren't actually taken quickly one after another as we figured out the best pose and angle. Which wasn't a problem until my face was in the cake. After a tiny bit as they debated and my face was still in the cake Alice suddenly had an epiphany: "EJ, can you breathe?" "Mmm! (No!)" XD So we hurried to finish and then I had to try and wipe it all off. It was the last shots of the day though so I didn't have to worry about the icing that got on my wig. We had so much food that day that we didn't eat it then but we took it home and Gil and Alice split it to eat. (I have a rainbow cake I made to finish off.)

And since the schedule was posted, do you think that 1-1:45 is a good time length? It gives us 45 minutes so I think that should be good.. But I've never done this with a group before so I pretty much have no idea. I have plans later on so 1:45 is when everything needs to be done...

PS That cake looked so delicious! I so would've been like Alice and eaten it off of Oz's face. Lol!

I hope we can get some great pictures! It will be nice to have an Alice shorter than me. XD (Our Alice is the tallest in the whole group, and Gil is second shortest (Echo who couldn't make it to the photoshoot is shorter than her.) Though since we'll be at con we'll be a little more limited than at the photoshoot as far as what we can do. I'm not putting my face into any more cakes for at least the rest of the semester if I can help it.

But yes, the cake was delicious, it would have been the sweetest and most delicious suffocating to death experience ever. XD

There are sooo many characters I want to cosplay as from Pandora Hearts. I wanna make a Lacie cosplay, Rufus, and I still wanna to Oz's ceremony outfit. Come to think of it. I haven't ever seen a Rufus cosplay........ boo.

I've talked to one going to Otakon this year, but yeah me neither. So I'm guessing that reading the manga was interesting? This is why I don't watch many animes, the manga always has so much more.

Oh yea it was! I had read past where the anime left off up to where it it had been updated, and i guess they took forever to update cuz every time i Check nothing new. Then i just stopped checking until i head u talkin about the crazyness. I am redoing some parts of my cosplay. Im obsessed all over again!!!

Hey everyone. I'm super disappointed to say and I'm extremely sorry, but I can no longer go to the convention. My parents are uncomfortable with it. I'm so sorry! But there's not really anything I could do... I really wish I could be there. Now there will only be one Alice, which I'm sure is enough, but now I have to leave and just look forward to seeing the outcome of the pictures. I wish I could come anyway on my own. But I think they'd notice if I just sneaked away.. T-T
I'll probably post here every once in awhile because I'd miss this thread too much. Anyway, Alice will miss you!

Aw, that's a huge shame. Most the reason I planned on doing this series again is because you were so enthusiastic and nice. (I have a lot of other costumes I'm wearing so I really wasn't planning on bringing out Oz until you asked.)

What exactly are your parents having doubts about? Maybe I can help you think of some counter points to try and convince them otherwise. Especially since compared to big mainland cons Kawaii Kon is veeeery tame. (There wasn't one person in only briefs holding a boombox above him running through the con with a whole line of dancing followers. Okay, there was the person cosplaying a flasher but they were wearing a tan bodysuit. Still tame compared to what I've seen and heard of happening at other cons, like real flashers.)

My parents don't like it because there's mature stuff in anime. They didn't say that I was involved with that or anything, but they're worried that as I get older, I'll be exposed to it and stuff. um..... sorry to say this right before the kon but i might not be able to be lotti because i ordered a wig along with my cosplay and it has not been sent to me yet... im hoping it will come in but if it doesnt i will not be comming to the photoshoot... ill try to find a wig when i get to the kon..... sorry:(
