TAT..no one from LGC showed up to Mango-kun's song performance yesterday ...but then again it was my fault I should have been made a post last minute, " Yea, Im going & competing...." Oh wells , no crying over spilt milk, right

And I was gonna give a shout out & promote the LGC club and all since being a contestant #13, I had the right to abuse the mic after all , but as it had no significance..since no LGC members were in the crowd to begin with...

I even had an awesome introduction *well-to test the mic-volume * that went something like this in a rather contorted Visual-Kei/wanna-be rockstar dude's voice: "Sugi-wa-Akihabara-Akihabara-desu ...{PAUSE] Ore~wa~Mango-kun~Desu!!" {PAUSE waiting for Odiemodies' or Saiyan's cheers that didnt come }, then on with the show!!

I thought you may not make it to this one (bad judgement on my part). So thinking my MAIN ATTRACTION wasn't going to grace and rock the stage (it's YOU I will come for), I switched to my next priority, which now pales in comparison to your brave and outstanding performance, which I would have reacted to like in the movies the way the guy would jump up and shout right in the middle of the audience with such exuberance, that everyone would think this girl who's performing on stage has got to be so special, that she's got good and great friends that support her no matter what. I am so impressed that you're willing to promote the LGC by rockin' it on the mic before your performance. That truly makes you a hardcore member, hearing that just blows me away. Singing is indeed your passion, where you are most comfortable, and at your best, and that I cannot deny. I felt really awful and insignificant, I could not quite finish reading your post. Please forgive me.

Mango-Chan, will you be going to the next one? If so, I will see to it when you do go to the next perlim, I WILL BE THERE, I WILL. You're my LGC sister, and I support you. Rain or shine , with or without the other members, I WILL SUPPORT YOU.

Well, El Presidente' (oh look, the Sgt. at Arms , too!), if it has to do with some kind of "meeting", or "meet-up', the first GT for the LGC will be on:

MARCH 28, 2010, Sunday @ Orvis Audit. on the UHM campus, 5:30-6pm, half an hour before Mango-Kun goes on the 2nd Karaoke prelims...

Speaking of that, Mango kun... you going on the try outs again? If so, we can meet before, or after your prelims ( I assure you, sista, I or we will be there this time, in FULL FORCE). Short meeting, or when we are through discussing the updates and what nots for our first appearance as a new club at KK. If not, we still can meet up to watch the other contestants perform, together as a group. Then perhaps get something to eat afterwards.. Mickey D's, or Burger King, per say? Whatever the club decides, I'm voting in too.

Speaking of which, on the subject of "Newly formed Clubs", there is a request for a forum for anyone who is interested in hosting one of the many ones listed on there for the upcoming KK events, and I saw one forum on "I want to start a Club!" Heh, could that be us? Nah, too much going on, and I don't want to overwhelm any of the present club members, especially our dear sista, Mango-Kun. The swearing in ceremo and Sephi's filming of it for his show is good enough... I think.

Hokay, so until we get replies that will cause some changes in the GT, it still stands as for now.

orvis auditorium is at uh manoa campus... its on the stan sheriff ctr side of campus... bus 52... if u swiitch on to an A, 4, or 6(wood-lawn bus) it should pass right by it

I was going to state this GT is for LGC members only, but since this is a first outing, family and/or friends are invited, if you wish. But after March 31st, and the officiating ceremo at KK, it's members only all the way.

As for me, what a privilege to have the opportunity to be in all of you guys company (though I am speaking rather prematurely), I'm actually an oddball tweeb among groups and clubs, so thanks for the acceptance... Odie "The Statesman" has spoken!

And yah, I can bring in the sketch drafts of the LGC badges, that are on the final phase of being completed. We can suggest, and pick out which of the designs we all agree to put on the IDs before it becomes a seal deal. This is why the membership recruiting needs to be finalized by the ending of March. Some late recruities maybe allowed, but chances are, their MIDT (membership ID tags) won't be ready for KK. Couldn't post any designs on this forum because of computer gremlins, so this GT will be a good opportunity to showcase 'em. Hope you all least have some liking to them... I've design them!

As a club, for our debut, I was thinking the "Matrix look", all black, shirts, pants, boots/shoes/sneakers, jacket/trench coats? Mmm... hope campus security don't misinterpret us like to be the "Trench coat Mafia"! So bad to look so good! Well, if we walked in looking like we mean business, all decked out in black, or something like to that, what an impression we would make. "Who are they? They must be a club, or somethin'..."

Whatcha tink, brothers, sistas? "Yo", or "No", to dress code? For this GT? Whatever be, I'll come dressed like that.

just to announcing you guys since I found out yesterday Mashiro mentioned about trying out as a contestant for this coming (Sun, Mar. 28) karaoke prelim round, BONZAI ...so its might not just be mango-kun competing, mashiro maybe a contestant as well...and er.. I might as well say this I mango-kun, plan to compete in an original cosplay... not revealing anything with that , you'll just have to see for yourself on that sunday night up on stage...
