Have you folks heard about this service? What do you think?

Me?

Pros: If you are playing on the computer, no more upgrading your hardware. Just need good internet connection and video playability. Future games will make use of advanced graphics technology.

Cons: The games are not files that can be saved on a hard drive. You're just paying for access to play the games. What's worse is that if the company goes out of business, your money goes down the drain. Also, there aren't a lot of games yet. I don't see Call of Duty game on there.

I remember this. I believe it's a fairly good service for those that don't have good PCs. Though, I don't plan on trying this out anytime soon.

Interesting site...but...*looks at copyright*...I think Valve will have a field day with this...or vice versa. Well something's going to happen between Steam and this site. I probably won't use it...mostly because...NO ACHIEVABLES. I get games for the achievables wether it be on steam or 360 (ps3 trophies have no worth).

. . . Oh dear...such a foolish little child...looking for Call of Duty. There's some great games here: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Batman Arkham Asylum, Borderlands, Braid, Just Cause 2, and NINJA BURADE (Ninja Blade). Though it probably won't attract most of the gaming market. Since, as you mentioned, no Call of Duty.

Exactly. When I say "have no worth" I mean it in every way. There's no point value to it, and also no point to them at all. After hackers and exploiters could award any trophy to themselves, it really became more of a way to monitor someone's progress in a game. Now, achievables on the 360 can also be acquired through system modifications such as game saving, but MS is usually much more vigilant and corrects these modifications. Sony...does not.

Oh, and a lot of the PS3 trophies (specifically platinums) are epicly retarded. i.e. DCOU and Mortal Kombat. I'm not gonna play specific games for that long...unless it's Halo; then eff it.

What people forget is ping, Hawaii is notorious for latency problems. Ping from here to the mainland usually starts at 100. So now your communicating to a remote computer, then sending a video feed back to you, and sending info to others if online play is available.

They bind you because the games your purchases are only with them so there is no way to attain it if you get a good computer.
99% of you people have said Lag before.

Onlive is an interesting concept but its execution is abit lacking for me.

Timewarner - Speeds doubling this year
Too bad double nothing is still nothing.
