How about Archos 70 tablet for $255 (as of now at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00422SH5C/; no personal experience)? There is also Archos 101 with 10in screen.

Someone at the American Psychiatric Association convention should organize a zombie march.

Also, it's a full moon, but they won't have a moonlight ball.

Heh... with that kind of minds at a convention like that, I wouldn't be surprised if there are a good number of "Brain-Tappers" that are willingly and wanting to do that! :P

So at the beginning of last week I tried my hand at making melonpan...Went pretty well even though I had no extract and I was too lazy to make the filling for it. Does this mean I'm having Hawaii or just Kawaii withdrawals?

Both. Though you still haven't reached the stage of trying to make Honey Toast. :D

Watched Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides yesterday and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'll love the soundtrack. Though I did like At World's End better, this movie DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. The soundtrack is awesome as always and b*d*ss!

Well, it did get mixed opinions, like with At World's End. But the public and critics almost always have a different view of movies. My friends and I loved the movie, but I'm not sure about others.

I went and saw it on Sunday. I didn't think it was as good as the others but it wasn't that bad either.

Well, I guess I expressed "awesome" too much, but I still loved the movie. The only letdown was the reduction in ship battles for me.

I, as well, saw it on Sunday. Not quite as good as the first two, but better than world's end (...duh. No offense to world's end and its followers, it just isn't my cup of tea). The whole blackbeard stuff kind of made me think that they were grasping at straws. I think they may be able to put out one more movie...but...that's pushing it.

And...one thing I'm disappointed in. Why no Davy Jones. It explicitly states (shows) that Will is alive in 9-10 years time after worlds end...so why no davy jones?

That would have made the movie epic. Davy Jones vs. Blackbeard. YOU CANNOT DENY THE AWESOMENESS INVESTED IN MY STATEMENT!

I saw it on Sunday too. It was better than World's End definetly. I did enjoy it and it was pretty entertaining. Penelope Cruz's performance was mediocre, but I did like the ending. I just hope they do not make another one.

I saw the movie this past weekend and I totally agree with this!

Seriously, I could totally envision Will coming to battle Blackbeard for killing all those people at sea. It would make an epic ship battle! Which this movie was totally missing and made it not feel as epic as the first couple of movies. I guess the budget didn't allow for it or something... Which makes me sad. :(

Oh well, I just hope they stop making Pirate movies now before the franchise goes even further downhill. Johnny Depp can only carry the movies for so long. And overall, the movies just don't seem the same to me anymore.

If Disney really feels the need to make another Pirates movie, they need to come up with a better story and add in more epic ship battles of course. Too much of this story took place on land for a Pirates movie. Bring back the Black Pearl!

I admit the thunder and lightening was nice change of pace and if you were outside this morning a really cool light show. But on the other hand no. Waking up to the sound of thunder right above my head wasn't the most fun.

Gah. The last three days SUCKED HORRIBLY. My laptop's hard drive crashes, now I have to get a new one and all my precious images and such are gone. I have to wait another week before it gets fixed. Plus, no Touhou made me VERY DEPRESSED, and the rain and thunder only made it worse by further increasing my boredom and depression. The only thing keeping me alive is my wee little cellphone letting me post on these forums.

Sorry to hear that, Pizza... but HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to you, mate! Yep, I already wished you best wishes earlier on your speical day, thought to response to your post... wanted to enlighten it!

Glory be! I just missed part of it on the news last night that my Aloha connection group from Sendai, Japan was on TV in the ending of the three-day Pan Pacific festivals parade through Waikiki... DARN IT! I love parades! How could I'd missed that? So busy, I didn't check my emails on time! BUGGA! :( :x

Oh, well... the weather was beautiful, and at least I got to see them, they looked happy to be here in Hawai'i, carring a banner, thanking us for all the support and Aloha... Good for them! :D

Despite the awful and heart-breaking losses of homes and loved ones, those Kids are just so AWESOME! :D

And they looked extremely coool in their real school dress uniforms! Wouldn't it be boss to have them come to our Kon like that? 8)
Sendai School SuperJun Ogata and his students TOTALLY ROCK! :!:

I missed the first broadcast, but it can be seen again right here!

AYE... WHERE IN THEE BLUE BLAZES HAVE YOU BEEN!? lol! :P

Alrighty... now I've got yer attention... since we are kinda previewing movies... anybody gonna see THE GREEN LANTERN tonight/ this weekend?
Ryan Renolds has the leading role, I remembered him best in the 2002 collage goofball movie NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VAN WILDER, with former partygirl Tara Reid.

I'm rather a comicbook hero fan, but I won't be able to see the opening tonight nor this weekend... car fixing issues!

Heard the critics sniped it pretty much when it previewed on the mainland already... wow... indeed... it is not easy being GREEN! :?

In the relm of the number of posts, I definitely remembered I was posted in the neighborhood count of 1,020-40+... did I hit a certain level or point that the count would be reduced to 900-something? Or is it just a glitch in the system, there? :?:

Not really gonna cry over it, really... but I find that very unusal... any exclaimations? :?

Thanks a bunch, that makes the reason more clearer... though, it must have to be for a really short time that had happened, most recently, or I could've been out of the loop for quite a while... I must admit, I check the forums at least once every day, so, not likely...
