So I've been wondering lately if there will be anybody cosplaying as characters from Touhou Project. I remember seeing a Reimu, Marisa, Cirno, and Chen cosplayer this year and I plan to go as Wriggle for next years Kon.

Correction a Reimu and Marisa pair, a lone Marisa in artist alley, a Flandre in artist alley, Cirno, and Chen :3 i saw them all and am acquainted with Flan and Marisa from the AA.

What's wrong with going as a girl when you are a guy, plus Mokou wears pants so it should be okay...Then again I plan to be Wriggle...I think it was because I thought it would be clever if I cosplayed as a girl that looks like a guy :3

I only saw Chen once while she was waiting in line on Friday, but didn't get her pic. I ran into the Reimu and Marisa pair at the Manga Library/TTG room(apparently my friends said they were from Japan but idk), I spent a couple hourse looking for Cirno to take her picture(because it would be my 9th pic, haha...I take touhou memes way too seriously), but I didn't see your friends who were Marisa and Flan

. Do you have any pictures?

Also my friend pizzamanilla may cosplay as Nue.

Edit: My other friend Banon, may be cosplaying as Tokiko.

Well, if do decide to do this genderswap BROhou thing XD, if I can work up enough money for the costume, and I don't have anything big planned for the appointed day of Kon with my other friends, you can count me in as Mokou. :mrgreen:

lol i saw the cirno at least once each day...and took a picture of her on each day technically. saw her pass through AA on friday and left my table to track her down and got her pic. on saturday she was akita neru and got a picture with her since i was kaito. and saw her again on sunday as cirno and took another picture cuz i had gotten a reimu plushie i wanted her to take a pic with it. and yah i have a pic of them! i was able to get both of them together since my friend dressed as flan came over to get a pic of marisa

yes, yes it does. wriggle is still a girl despite looking the most boyish. so i think a dude dressed as a boyish lookiing girl would count as a reverse reverse trap? because at first you think the characters a boy than you find out its a girl to only find out the person cosplaying said girl is guy...oh no i appeared to have gone cross eyed >.< anyways thats how i see it

Ah, so I'm not the only one. Now to commence the revival of this thread (now where'd I put that fire and Hourai Elixir)!

If anything Saturday and/or Sunday's most likely. I'll probably cosplay as the Scout on Friday and maybe Sunday depending on what I feel like. I'll probably also bring over my guitar to cover Caramelldansen on Sunday too.

Saturday would work best for me. My friends and I were planning to do our Angel Beats! cosplays on Sunday for the Zombie March (assuming there will be one). 030 Trying to get some of those friends to join us, though they know nothing of Touhou.

Good news and bad news

Good news: I found a black and red cape while digging through the trash in my house!

Bad news: My parents credit card is maxed out so I can't ask if I can use it to get a green wig online. Anybody know where I can get a green wig (short length) at a decent price.

You could try doing what my friend in the UK did. She took one of her old wigs and mixed acrylic paints and rubbing alcohol to re-color it from blonde to rainbow. If you don't have a wig you can re-use, I think I saw some pretty cheap ones at Party City. Just need to cut and style them. XD I saw the one I'm gonna use for Mokou. Sadly, I can't find anything that is remotely as long as Moko-tan's hair. I just need the wig, some ribbons, and suspenders.

I was probably just gonna wait for Halloween and see what wigs they have. Hopefully something will be green.

Getting a wig the length of Mokou's hair in one shot seems pretty difficult, you can get it online but they're not exactly the cheapest places to get things on a budget.

Oh and Spring Break lands directly on Kawaii Kon for me, so I'll be Wriggle on both Friday and Saturday (and Scout on Thursday's Pre-Reg and Sunday).

Nevermind I found two places at Ala that sell wigs.

Yet another IN character may join the group. All we'll need is Eirin/Kaguya depending on the choice, Mystia, Tewi and Reisen.

Coincidentally, I was thinking of a way to cosplay Momiji. Get an Inuyasha wig and a White long sleeve. The red design on her skirt can be embroidered on or something.
