Cool! I'm actually meeting another person who's going as Oz to take some pictures with me but your outfits will be different so I hope I get to take a picture with both of you! And it would be really funny if we got to take a picture with one Alice (me) and two Ozs. I'd make her be super confused and then a different picture with her being all excited because now she has two manservants! Lol.

Ah, I thought so, you're deviantart's HollehK aren't you? I'm emohippie, heh. ; Small world huh? And I'm sure you'll be a great, and most likely better, Oz Faithless! Cause I'm way too tall for Oz, heh heh heh... >_>; I had to keep sitting and crouching so the fact that I was taller than my Gil wouldn't show. Our Alice though was even taller than me, it lead to lots of 'creative posing' and eventually just not caring! And I also use my natural hair though I've been thinking about getting a wig, I'm thinking to cut it Shizuo short for the con.

I actually told that Oz I was going to cosplay as young Gilbert. . .___. but I've changed my mind because of the Oz's character song. -nods- Wigs are better, if you can find one that is close to the actual hair color and matches a person's face shape and complexion. I always end up dying my hair...

Huh, Friday? Did I wear it Friday? Especially night, only think I remember of Friday night is succumbing to sleep early after three nights with not more than three hours of sleep between them helping Vincent finish his costume in time. Sunday I did Oz during theater, then Shizuo and Black Rock Shooter, Friday I was TK then I changed into... Kyoko? Then I was Joker and Oz on Saturday, yup! So no I don't think that was me, unless I've lost my mind which is possible. I was the one in the Pandora Hearts skit last year. As to my height I'm 5'8" (Gil was 5'2. T_T I was so friggin tall when I stood next to him. But when we wore our 'younger' versions of the characters it was perfect! XD)

I'm 4"10. and sorry I didn't get to see the cosplay theater that year. You might have seen my friends cosplaying as Reborn, with that Old Spice skit. (I wish to see the picture of Young Gil and Oz).

This is the best photo we have of us in the costumes, we didn't really take pictures of the costumes. And I'm wearing a coat cause it was really cold so it doesn't look like I'm wearing it at all. T_T

I'm pretty happy with my height, sorry. XD I admit it gets in the way a lot with my playing of young snobby blond slut boys (I want to cosplay Alois one day, though I know I'd be so awkwardly gawky and gangly like I am with Oz.) But a lot of the characters I cosplay are on the tall side so I usually wish I was taller. Like Rain Jewelitt, Shizuo, Mephisto, Undertaker, so on. And yeah it was definitely not me if the Gil and Oz were level. All of our pictures we had to do stuff like this:

Yeah I'm remaking my costume, and the boots because they keep falling apart no matter what adhesive I use and the amount of hot glue on them is getting ridiculous. As to the rest, there are a lot of flaws and things I want to fix especially now that I finally own a sewing machine of my own on the island!

Yeah, I'm really too tall for Oz, I should have been Break or another taller character. At the time though we had a Break, she dropped the role though for several reasons. Thought about being Jack, but we had a Sharon, Cheshire, Gil, Will of the Abyss, Glenn, Alice, Break(at the time), and Vincent. Oz needed to be done. And besides we met the most amazing Jack at con who we're now great friends with so turned out awesome! Just I think I'm taller than Jack except when she wears heels, not sure. >_>;;

I actually am. I do staff at Kawaii Kon along with my cosplaying.... If you look at my list of cosplays in my siggy you could tell that unless I have a lot of cosplays for Kon. Also, I do run the Hetalia panel's and etc... If it doesn't interfere with my other obligations then expect me to be Gil.

Ha ha, it's not like that, I don't call dibs on cute little Holly here, we just happened to talk with each other and make an agreement at Deviantart. Also I think, since there shall be an Oz normal, if my fancy costume is ready in time I'll wear it. After all, less for me to pack to the hotel room for the weekend, heeeeh... (Shizuo + Vending Machine & Street signs, Tsugaru Shizuo, Shinpachi, Rikku (maybe), Ventus' Armor form + keyblade, Mephisto, Komui, fancy Oz, aaand the stuff we're selling at the artist table will be more than enough to keep me busy. >_>;; ) So yeah I'll only be bringing one version of Oz if I can help it, sorry!

(Vincent from our group last year was Paine another day, you might have seen her.) But yeah if it is done and I'm not too busy Friday I can try. Problem is Friday is the only day we can get our Kagura for Gintama and is also supposed to be the day of the Blue Exorcist Photoshoot so I need to also do Mephisto. Though that isn't till eight... So yeah if the costume is ready in time and it doesn't conflict I could wear it when you are being Yuna if you want though we'll be from different games.

Ah, you've pointed her out before when I met you as Kyoko. The FF Photoshoot on Friday is at noon if you think you can make it? If not oh wells lol There aren't a lot of FF10/10-2 cosplayers. Hope I don't disappoint, did a test run of Mephisto on campus last week and things look pretty good, just have a few things to finish/fix. I loooove my cape though, so swishy!

Most likely though Rikku will get finished and I'll be able to wear it, most likely. >_>;; If not I'm always willing to snap photos with people on other days once things are finished.

LoneWarrior also said she'd be able to act out a 'drunk Gil' at the shoot! That's all the important stuff that happened right?

Your friend is Plushy-Ciel correct? It was no problem, I'm good at finding stuff like that so I often try to help out however I can. And you totally should put up pics! I'd love to see how things are coming!

I'm feeling so busy, just got the stuff for the vending machine, going to start working the wonderflex for the armor tomorrow, remaking my Oz vest, got the stuff to finish Mephisto's hat, and am putting off styling my Ventus wig. Actually my friend is LeRabbidC00kiez. Lol. And for my cosplay, i have everything but my scythe done. So first I'm going to take pictures of her without the scythe, and then either start making or continue making the scythe and then take more pics with it. I'm going to be helping LeRabbidC00kiez with her cosplay today actually. So I'll tell you how it turns out!

I guess I've been helping a few people lately. ; Though I don't think I really did much for LeRabidCookies that she should feel the need to be grateful, just helped guide her through the boards since I spend waaaay too much time on here (proven by my photoshoot schedule topic. >_>; ) I'm super happy to hear you're making the scythe too! That's so cool! Ah, our Glenn last year made scythes for both the B.Rabbit and Alice of our group, if you run into any trouble I can ask him about how he did it if you like. They were fairly well done but very top heavy to the point the blade would fold over the pole if you didn't hold it right by the end of the con (they held up fine for the first day), still they looked amazing. Or at least they were huge which made them seem amazing XD It always seems to me at cons that if a person has a prop bigger than themselves, even if it isn't amazing people will be awed by it just because of its sheer size. But yeah he did a great job on them, here's a picture:

Thats so awesome! I was planning on making mine a tad smaller though.
It will still be over my head but the blade and all will probably be smaller and I have to make it so that I can unattach and re-attach again because I have to somehow bring with me on the airplane. O-O

Um, I think he used cardboard... I'd have to ask him about it though. Course if you wanted something a bit stronger maybe spend more and get foamboard cause that's stiffer. Trying to remember how they were when I held them last year, I think the rod was wood and he'd carved out a slot at the top which the blade was slid into along with glue to keep it in place. Pretty sure he used cardboard which is why by Sunday the scythe would flop over just above the end of the rod. I thiiiiiiink. Emphasis on think, to the extreme. I didn't play with those bad boys much so can't say for sure. I can ask him though about it.

The blades were very flat though, I remember that. Most Alices seem to prefer having the more three dimensional ones made of like insulation foam or other things. For us, well they were more extras at the end of a lot of other stuff we were working on so money and time weren't in wide supply. I think he finished these like day before the con or something like that.
