Local help needed, Free badge in payment

Hi Everybody! (hi dr. nick)

Amelie Belcher here, 2 time Kawaii Kon vet, web comic artist, and illustrator of the yaoi Graphic Novel "Loud Snow".

I'm an artist in the Art Alley this year and I'm flying in the day before the con. I live in Austin Texas, the awesome public transportation capital of the world, and therefore do not drive. I Need to get to target to buy my wire cube shelving units for my table display when I get there, but that would be one hell of a long taxi ride.

I have 2 tables in the AA this year and that means I have an extra badge for the show.

All I need is someone who's local to pick up the wire racks from Target and get them to me when I get to the con OR drive my non-car having rear to target and back. I would of course pay for the racks if you pick them up for me.

I can also pay in art prints as well.

Anyone interested?

Well, I'd need 3 full boxes. I have a pretty HUGE display . hence the need to go to target. If you have that many, I'd be supper happy to use them.

Also, any I buy in Honolulu, i will just have to give away at the end of the con anywho b/c they are SUPER expensive to ship. Cheaper just to re-buy when i get there everyear.

My brother had to ship his costume to LA for Anime Expo, then we couldnt bring it back because we couldnt afford to ><
It was a big gundam costume he worked on for a whole year, we were so sad D':

I have no idea where my tables will be atm. What time are you planning on setting up? I'm getting to the convention center around 8:30is. (flight lands at 7:45)

You see, it's my first year in the artist alley with my friend. We had to start small, so we got everything to make sure we can get a good start...

Do you still want to borrow the cubes? I'll still give them to you on thursday if you want
(I think it might save you $40 since you wouldnt get it at target. And you can get it at sears for much less, i heard though)

Err, Amelie, why did you post the same thing in two areas? I'm pretty sure that's not against forum rules, but it seems a little redundant to post this in the Open Topics, and then post it in the Art Show/Artist Alley forums half an hour later. A lot of local artists who have forum accounts would check the Artist Alley subforum as much as anywhere else. Just wondering, as it's none of my business how you and Anise hash it out or not ^^;;
