... And another!
http://youtu.be/H3m7sYXbczIThis music vid was an idea in the making to be composed at our own con, but never did took off... myself and a small crew was going to film it last year, but everyone had other projects, so it was put on hold. At this point in time, it's still in the holding pattern, but anyone interested who can do this style of music video, let me know. In its' simplicity, it's not a really complex video plotwise, just an array of Cosplayers dancing to an awesome and catchy dance track (which the track itself is what makes it so appealing, besides the ultra cool Cosplays), only the composer/ editer of the vid will be doing all the creative gruntwork, not to mention the crew filming it, but what great results. This vid had a lot of sponsors, not to mention
Glidecam, or better known as
Steadi-cam, which gave it shake-free pans and mondo effects (best reference of it's use was in
Star Wars: The return of the Jedi, the Endor forrest biker chase scene). This tech came out in 1971, it is regularly and widely used in filming movies and in television today... anyone got a rock-solid steady arm?
And just letting you know... I've finally gotten the golden opportunity to attend
Anime Expo/AX 2013 in Los Angeles this coming July, where this vid was filmed featuring
Tank9 and Mary last year... I'm planning to meet up with them at the convention there... perhaps join them in their new music vid for 2013? If so, look out for the Luigi, or an all white Goth dude... opposite to Tank's dark side!
By creating a totally choice Anime Cosplayer music video, it can put the convention, and the makers of it on the map as well. It has already, but the consistancy is what the fans and would-be fans look out for. The best vid turned promo vid by
Kawaii Kon I've ever seen was the
Kawaii Kon 2012 Opening Ceremonies video... it's still getting great comments on Youtube, some saying they want to come to
Kawaii Kon after watching it... props to awesome film making!

So, let's have an awesome Cosplay Music video filming this year, at
Kawaii Kon 2013!
And oh, ya...
Remys Petite vids are bombastic, too!
