At Kawaii Kon 2012 I...

Just a little topic for all you guys and girls who want to talk about the crazy (admit it they were crazy) things you and your friends did at this years Kawaii Kon.

At Kawaii Kon 2012 I:
-Sung Karaoke like a best on Friday's Open Karaoke
-Got interviewed for Nico Nico's live broadcast
-Brohoofed ALL the bronies (I think about 50+ in all)!!!!
-Spent all of my money at the Artist Alley and Dealers Room. Mostly got Madoka, Black Rock Shooter, Touhou, and ponies. Worth it.
-Participated in Sunday's Munchkin Tournament and got ganged up on by everyone else on my table during the second one.
-Hung out with friends and met a lot of new ones.
-Went to the 808 Brony Meetup and watched the new episode of MLP:FiM for the second time that day.
-Rocked out like a maniac morethanIusualyamon Rock Band.
-Got my Derpy Hooves print on the big screen during the beginning of Closing Ceremonies
-Ran into Ryo Horikawa in the elevator of the Ala Moana Hotel
-Scremed CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~N!!!! at TTG when we saw a girl cosplaying as Chen...
-Pre registered for KK13
-Missed Eleven Staples and got sad when I heard they broke up. Now I'm considering making my own anime band...
-and a bunch of other stuff...

At Kawaii-kon 2012 I:

- Hung out with friends I haven't seen for a good few months let alone a year.
- With said friends crazy and hilarious shenanigans were had.
- Went to the Eyeshine concert/ Q&A on Sunday
- Amazingly didn't blow all my money and limited myself on saying what I really wanted compared to a random want.
- Participated in three photoshoots.
- Had fun seeing all the awesome cosplay outfits everyone had on.
- Got hugged about twice
- Went to the maid cafe with a friend.
- pre-registered for 2013.
- Kicked off the wonderful three day convention and pre-reg pick up with my birthday.

For the record if I weirded anyone out during this weekend...I apologize D:. I tend to ramble.

At Kawaii Kon 2012 I...
-Met a lot of people in person for the first time.
-Bought some *coughhentaicough* for the first time.
-Got my sketch of Rider signed by Yuu Asakawa.
-Sold art in the Artist Alley for the first time.
-Saw the cutest Remilia cosplayer ever.
-Saw the cutest Yachiru cosplayer ever.
-Got a sword.
-Geeked out about Katawa Shoujo.
-Participated in the Zombie March for the first time.

At Kawaii Kon 2012 I...


- met friends that I haven't seen since last kon!
- got to meet the japanese seiyuus
- got to re-acquaint myself with the american VA's
- got to meet Lisa Ortiz
- took over 100 pictures! (I broke my record!)
- pre-reg for 2013
- hung out w/ my friends
- bought a lot of 'bit of sugar' items in the Dealer's Room
- went to opening ceremonies for the first time since i started coming to the kon!

At Kawaii Kon 2012
-Won Best Novice at cosplay showcase
-Met Vic Mignogna in the hotel elevator
-Took down a vending machine
-Was dragged across the ground shouting how I wouldn't let Lenalee get married
-Chased down an Izaya while holding a vending machine larger than I am
-Performed a skit in Cosplay Theater

First year I didn't get a hotel room LOL I found out last minute con was so early I thought it was the end of the month, also first year I didn't go all 3 days =[ sad times.

Next year I'll be ready!

At Kawaii kon 2012
Sustained yet another injury via exact knife

Saw old friends
Was part of the Zombie March for the very first time. Granted my role was pretty brief as the Merchant but was part of it.
First time got asked to play the Pocky game...
First time actually played the Pocky game...
Got two autographs
First year I left my companion cube home. Maybe it will come back next year.
Project I thought was really bad turned out to be good and well received but back to the drawing board still.
Cosplays I thought weren't that good were actually well received.
Had a mexican stand off with Chibi Romano again.
Had a two way battle between Chibi Romano and mafia Romano.
Went to closing ceremonies for the first time in a long while.

- Convinced one of my staffers get a NicoNico shirt for me (I already had an account)
- Actually got autographs from all of the guests (usually, it's rare if I get one)
- Forced some of my staffers to get autographs from at least one guest
- Forced my teacher and a few friends to go to Kon
- Ate a Subway sandwich for the first time in years
- Drank coffee only once this weekend
- Was a bit more social with a lot of people
- Had a lot of fun (Kon work included)

This year I...

-Finally fulfilled my goal of working in a maid/cosplay cafe (Was one of like 3 male butlers?)
-Got to wear those Necomimi ears almost throughout the entirety of kon and ESPECIALLY while working at the cafe.
-Met a ton of really fun people and really cute girls x3
-Participated in my first otaku speed dating thing, seeing as this is my first 18+ kon. (I was #4 with the vest and tie and cat ears! ^ w^)
-First time ever participating in the karaoke competition and making it to the final round. Scared the heck outta me, but it was still fun!
-Sung to Disney Princesses
-And lost a few pounds due to not having time to eat much!

Overall, this kon re-instilled my faith in conventions and now I really REALLY can't wait til next year.

I think that EVERY hard working staffer deserves some lovin' after working their faces off trying to keep everything organized. xD

This Year at Kawaii Kon, I:

Staffed Tabletop games. Yep, I was a Staffer. Whoo!
Actually did a Cosplay that involved more than finding old clothes at Goodwill.
Gave a pretty Maiden a Unicorn Ride.
Taught even more people to Dance ballroom than I did last time.
Lost My badge (they gave me a replacement, but it wasn't the same)

This year of Kawaii Kon 2012 I...

-- Staffed Events officially for the first time. It was a blast!
-- Made it to the finals of the Karaoke Competition a second time, but lost to a great singer. Congrats Joy!
-- Participated in Cosplay Theater again and got asked to participate next year. I was the last-minute Genesis. XP
-- Ran 4 panels and helped out in 3 other ones. 3 of em' were Voice Acting panels.
-- Got 4 autographs.
-- Got surprised when Serenity Wheeler told me she's also from Brooklyn. Brooklyn Rage runs in the family, I guess. XD
-- Barely ate, barely slept, but had a lot of energy. Definitely loved drinking 5-hour energy at my panel.
-- Made more friends this Kon than any other year.

Overall, this was a great Kon. XD

--went on a 7/11 and a taco bell run with them (that was fun)
