Q: Where am I able to buy a ticket before the convention starts?
You are able to buy a ticket online HERE. These tickets are considered to be Pre-Registered tickets.
Q: When does the price go up for pre-ordered passes?
Currently tickets are selling for $40 for adults and $30 for children. Next price jump is on January 25. Tickets will be $45 for adults and $35 for children.
Q: If I buy a pass online will it be faxed or mailed to me?
No. You print out the confirmation email, bring it with you to the convention along with your photo I.D. or school I.D. (if you are in grades K-12), and stand in the pre-registration line that your last name would be under.
Q: What do I do if I pre-registered at last year’s convention but didn't receive a confirmation?
Email the Registration Director at registrationhelp@kawaii-kon.org indicating that you did not receive it. Include your full name and current email address.
Q: What is the cutoff date for online orders?
March 31.
Q: I lost my confirmation email. May you resend it?
Yes. Please email the Registration Director at registrationhelp@kawaii-kon.org along with your full name.
Q: What time are we allowed to line up on Thursday night?
5:30PM. However, the Registration booths open at 7PM to hand out the PRE-REGISTERED THREE-DAY PASSES and the Registration Director will not make any exceptions. Also please take into consideration that Registration staff is busy preparing for the event.
Q: Will you be accepting Walk-In Registrations on Thursday, April 9?
No, we will not. However should we finish early with online pre-regs we might take some walk ups.
Q: What if I do not have both, my confirmation email & photo I.D.?
You will be asked to stand to the side until we are finish helping the people who remembered both. When we are not busy, we will help you. So if you do not want to wait... Please remember to bring both, confirmation email & photo I.D.!
Q: Can I pick up my friend's pass?
No.
Q: Can I pick up my friend's pass if I have my friend's confirmation email?
No.
Q: Can I pick up my group's passes?
This is only eligible to people who ordered MORE THAN EIGHT passes on a SINGLE confirmation number. Select ONE person that is going to pick up all of the passes. Please email the Registration Director at registrationhelp@kawaii-kon.org before APRIL 3rd along with your full name and confirmation number. If the group is larger than TWENTY people, please inform the Registration Director before March 27. The envelope with all of the passes will be under that person’s name. Please remember to bring your photo ID when picking up the passes.
Q: Will the Registration department enforce that rule that they had at last year's convention on Friday?
No. Friday is a holiday.
Q: What are the "At-Door" registration prices?
3 Day Memberships
Adult (ages 13 & up) - $50
Child (ages 6 to 12) - $40
2 Day Memberships
Adult (ages 13 & up) - $35
Child (ages 6 to 12) - $25
1 Day Memberships
