Q: Where am I able to buy a ticket before the convention starts?
You are able to buy a ticket online IF YOU CLICK HERE. These tickets are considered to be Pre-Registered tickets.

Q: When does the price go up for pre-ordered passes?
Currently tickets are selling for $42 for adults and $32 for children. Pre-registration ends on March 31, 2010.

Q: If I buy a pass online will it be faxed or mailed to me?
No.

You print out the confirmation email, bring it with you to the convention along with your photo I.D. or school I.D. (if you are in grades K-12), and stand in the PRE-REGISTRATION line that your last name would be under.

Q: What do I do if I pre-registered at last year’s convention but didn't receive a confirmation?
Email the Registration Director at registrationhelp@kawaii-kon.org indicating that you did not receive it. Include your full name and current email address.

Q: What is the cutoff date for online orders?
March 31, 2010.

Q: I ordered my pass online but I lost my confirmation email. May you resend it?
No.

You are able to log back into eventbrite.com and print it out.

Q: What time are we allowed to line up on Thursday night?
5:30PM. If you come earlier, we may ask you to sit on the side and out of the way.

However, the Registration booths open at 7:00PM to hand out the PRE-REGISTERED THREE-DAY PASSES and the Registration Director will not make any exceptions. Please take into consideration that Registration staff is busy preparing for the event.

Q: Will you be accepting Walk-In Registrations on Thursday, April 15?
No, we will not. However, should the lines die down with pre-registrations we might take some walk ups.

Q: What if I do not have both, my confirmation email & photo I.D.?
Confirmation email is GREATLY ENCOURAGED. There may be multiple people with the same name as yours and the confirmation email will help us find your pass faster. Please be considerate to other people in line.

Q: I want to transfer my pass to someone else. How do I go about doing this?
The owner of the ticket must email the Registration Director & Assistant at registrationhelp@kawaii-kon.org by March 1, 2010. The email must be coming from the email address that was used to register the pass.

Q: Can I pick up my friend's pass?
Yes. HOWEVER, your friend, not you, must email the Registration Director & Assistant at registrationhelp@kawaii-kon.org by March 1, 2010. The email must be coming from the email address that was used to register the pass.

Q: Can I pick up my group's passes?
Large groups must be purchased under 1 to 3 order numbers. Maximum amount of people under one order number is 30. Please email the Registration Director & Assistant at registrationhelp@kawaii-kon.org by April 1, 2010.

Failure to comply, passes will have to be picked up individually and will not be released to anyone other than the name registered on the badge.

Q: Will the Registration department enforce the truancy law on Friday?
Yes.

If you are younger than 18, there will be a disclaimer form that you need to sign when you pick up your pass. If you do not sign the form, you will not get your pass on Thursday night and/or Friday from opening to 2PM.

Q: What are the "At-Door" registration prices?
3 Day Memberships
Adult (ages 13 & up) - $50
Child (ages 6 to 12) - $40
2 Day Memberships
Adult (ages 13 & up) - $35
Child (ages 6 to 12) - $25
1 Day Memberships
Adult (ages 13 & up) - $25
Child (ages 6 to 12) - $15

Q: What times will Registration be open?
The schedule is tentative. On Friday or Saturday, Registration may close earlier to accommodate the staff attending and checking in people to the Moonlight Ball.
